Along with the arts, I have always been fascinated by living creatures. My interest ranges from the tiniest insect to anything living in the deep ocean! I think what fascinates me about living creatures is that there's such a vast variety of them and that there still some being discovered to this day. I believe I am always going to see myself as a student; someone who is constantly learning. I always love learning interesting facts about creatures that, as a whole, we humans coincide with.

 

As of my fall semester in 2019, I really started to incorporate creatures in my visual language. My work is heavily inspired by just about anything I find to be fascinating. I believe that there is a beauty to every living being, even to those that most people find disgust in. I like to think about the behavior, the anatomy, and the evolution process when it comes to living creatures. 

 

I hope that with my work, I am able to bring to attention the beauty of any living creature to my audience.
